The Palestinian Ministry of Health issued a statement confirming the death of Mohammad Jibril Roummaneh, attributing his demise to the serious injuries sustained from bullets fired by Israeli occupying forces in El-Bireh, located to the northeast of Ramallah. The ministry also mentioned that another Palestinian was injured during the same altercation, but specific details regarding the injured individual were not provided.
Conversely, the Israeli military asserted that Roummaneh was part of a group of Hamas militants who had thrown firebombs at a military post near Psagot, an Israeli settlement.
