Madonna Laments Deaths Of Children In Israel-Hamas War

At the third date of her Celebration tour, Madonna addressed the raging Israel-Hamas conflict in
a long statement during a concert at London's O2 Arena. Calling the war "heartbreaking", the
singer lamented the deaths of children in the violence as well as alleged hate crimes related to
it.
She highlighted the brutal killing this week of six-year-old Wadea Al-Fayoume in Chicago. His
mother was also allegedly attacked.
71-year-old landlord Joseph Czuba has been charged with murder, with the local sheriff's office
saying, "detectives were able to determine that both victims were targeted by the suspect due to
them being Muslim and the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict involving Hamas and the Israelis."
Meanwhile, Joe Biden arrived in Tel Aviv on Wednesday as part of a complicated diplomatic trip,
becoming the first American president to step in Israel during a time of war.
The trip comes less than a day after a concerning blast at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City,
with hundreds reported dead. While Palestinian officials have blamed Israel for the explosion,
the Israelis have pinned blame on a failed rocket launch by Palestinian Islamic Jihad
