There are worries that the current uprising between Israel and Hamas could escalate into a full-fledged Third World War. Middle Eastern nations do not want to be drawn into an endless struggle because Western nations have already sided with bigger Israel.
Saudi Arabia and Iran are fighting to avoid getting dragged into the Israel-Hamas conflict while already being bogged down in Yemen and Syria. But the crux of this issue is Palestine, and Muslim countries value this troubled territory. For the past 70 years, Israel has cruelly oppressed the Palestinian people, destroying families, killing children and women, shooting and killing young people, uprooting people, and depriving them of their basic human rights.
Israel started using self-defense after Hamas' Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and embarked on a vengeance rampage.
Regional actors started giving priority to their national interests and development in their own countries because of regional threats and the fragile policies of global powers. They have sought to maintain peace in the world while attempting to isolate or limit regional crises. Furthermore, Iran is attempting to assert itself as a key actor after normalising relations with Saudi Arabia.
To prevent Hamas and other such organisations from further weakening the area, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict must ultimately be settled.
