Biden warns Iran that the US would "act forcefully" to safeguard its employees

According to US President Joe Biden, the US does not seek war with the Islamic Republic of Iran but will strike back "forcefully" to defend its citizens and personnel.

The US President allegedly remarked, "And make no mistake: The US does not seek conflict with the Islamic Republic of Iran but be prepared for us to act forcefully to protect our people," when speaking to the media in Canada.

This occurs the day after an incident in Syria that was purportedly carried out by organisations with Iranian connections resulted in the death of one American contractor and the injury of six US servicemen. The US military launched airstrikes in reprisal targeting organisations connected to Iran-backed troops in Syria.

In Canada, Biden claimed that a terrorist organisation supported by Iran attacked a US facility with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), killing one American contractor.

Biden sent his sympathies to the US contractor's family. He also wished the injured American service members a quick recovery. Biden said that in reaction to the attack by troops with Iranian support, the US military forces launched a number of airstrikes in Syria. "I'm also grateful for the professionalism of our service members who so expertly carried out this response," the US President stated.
