Four hostages rescued in Israeli military operation in central Gaza

Four hostages were successfully freed during a special operation in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, according to the Israeli army. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that the four people who were saved were Noa Argamani, 25, 27-year-old Andrey Kozlov, 21-year-old Almog Meir Jan, and 40-year-old Shlomi Ziv. They had been kidnapped on October 7 at the Nova music festival. According to reports, all four are doing well, and they have been sent to the Sheba Medical Center in Tel-HaShomer for additional testing.

This operation represents the third such rescue mission that has been successful. Corporal Ori Megidish of the Israeli army was rescued in the northern Gaza region in October of last year, and Fernando Marman and Louis Har were saved in the southern part of Rafah in February of this year.

One of the most well-known hostages still alive, who was featured in January propaganda movies by Hamas, seems to corroborate the reports from their home village that Svirsky and Sharabi were slain by Israeli shelling.

The news of this most recent rescue comes at the same time that Israel's military is still attacking terrorist facilities in Nuseirat. There have been reports of injuries in nearby localities such as al-Zawaideh and Deir al-Balah due to intense airstrikes and artillery fire.
