Bookings for Umrah or a small pilgrimage in the Kingdom ofSaudi Arabia during the holy month of
Ramadan are completely reserved for the first 13 days of the month.
According to a media source, bookings for Umrah are no
longer accessible in the first 13 days of the month in the Kingdom as it is
completely booked. According to the media report, many people booked
reservations for Umrah during the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan is the busiest season for Umrah in Grand Mosque in
Mecca, Saudi Arabia. According to the Nusuk app, reservations have been made
for the 13 days of the month, including the last 10 days of Ramadan. There is
also a massive demand for Umrah on the remaining six days of the holy month.
The Kingdom has announced Umrah permits during the holy
month of Ramadan. Pilgrims can obtain permits to perform Umrah during the
sacred month by logging into the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s Nusuk app.
The Umrah permits can be purchased through the Nusuk app. The Nusuk app is
under the guidance of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, a government ministry in
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
After logging into the Nusuk app, pilgrims would receive the
visas and permissions to perform Umrah and their booked packages,
electronically.
Reportedly, nearly 800,000 Muslims from other countries have
so far registered for undertaking Umrah in the Kingdom. Abdul Rahman Shams, the
assistant undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj for Umrah affairs, reportedly
said, “The number of pilgrims from outside the Kingdom, who have registered on
the Nusuk platform to perform Umrah during Ramadan, has reached nearly
800,000.”
Muslims with personal visas, visit visas and tourism visas
are allowed to perform Umrah during Ramadan in Saudi Arabia. They can also
visit Al Rawda Al Sharifa, where the tomb of the Prophet Mohammed is located in
the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, a city in western Saudi Arabia.
